Everything about the Edelmetall Brü® Kettle makes your beer better and your brew day easier.

The first kettle ever to feature a weldless tangential whirlpool port. The Cyclonic Whirlpool inlet creates a whirlpool to pull debris to the center of your kettle, allowing the transfer of ultra-clear liquid. Better, yet, the constant movement of wort allows rapid chilling and a more effective cold break when used with an immersion chiller.

The revolutionary EZ Clean™ bulkhead is equipped with internal o-rings, allowing the IsoFlow™ dip tube to slide right in. Once installed, it can be fully rotated to your desired position and easily removed for cleaning.

Now features pro-quality 304 Stainless Steel.

Where to begin
I ordered the 10 Gal version with a great deal of excitement. This was the first step in upgrading my brewing system. So with baited breath, I got the pot in. It was shipped direct from Edelmetall, not from Midwest, and it arrived packaged well with no dings. It arrived disassembled, which is no biggie for the industrious homebrewer, but at the cost, I would've like that the seals be tested before being sent. I did test all the seals with cold water before brewing, and found no leaks. However, on brew day, while transferring the wort of my barley-wine into the kettle, the tangential port started leaking very fast. Luckily, I still had my old kettle on stand by, and was able to save the beer. After taking it apart, I found a hair (not my mine or my wife's, wrong color and length) on the silicone seal of the tangential port. When the hot wort hit it, it softened the seal, causing the leak. I lost about a half gallon of wort to it.The etching for the volumetric markings isn't bad, not good, but not bad. This dip tube is useless. I couldn't get it to seat in the bulkhead, I tried whetting it and heating up the bulkhead to soften the seals, but got nowhere. All in all, it seems like a quality kettle, but the whistles and bells are poorly thought out, and I haven't been able to actually use it yet.Not worth the cost, especially with the quality of the add-ons.

BEST ANSWER: You can either change the quantity to 0 and hit "update brew list" at the bottom of the list or click on the X to the right of the add to cart button.
Is this coming back in stock sometime soon? Are the weldless fittings any different than a megapot?
R O on Mar 7, 2016
BEST ANSWER: Hello Garrison,

Thank you for choosing Midwest Supplies! We do not have an ETA on the Edelmetall Bru Kettles. We are currently working with a new producer to be able to provide a higher quality kettle. The bulkhead fitting is very similar to the EZ clean Isoflow bulkhead, but the thermometer is of higher quality, and the whirlpool port option is not an option with the Megapot. I hope that this helps!
